Student Fellowship

AFP Fort Worth Metro Student Fellowship Program

The Student Fellowship program through the Fort Worth Metro Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is designed to promote an inclusive, diverse fundraising profession by providing access to engaging opportunities and experiences for local college students.
The fellowship will include:
  • Full one-year scholarship membership* to the Association of Fundraising Professionals Fort Worth Metro Chapter
  • Free registration* for up to ten member luncheons held either in-person at the Fort Worth Club, Fort Worth, Texas or virtually. Attendance is required at a minimum of five luncheons. 2021 Luncheons are scheduled for January 11, February 8, March 8, April 12, May 10, July 12, August 9, September 13, October 11, and December 13.
  • Full scholarship* to attend the DFW Philanthropy in Action Conference in 2021, date TBD, in Irving, Texas
  • Mentorship* with an experienced development professional from the AFP Fort Worth Metro Chapter
*memberships and benefits will be available from January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021.

The Fort Worth Metro Chapter will accept up to two fellows from partner universities (Texas Christian University, University of North Texas, and University of Texas at Arlington). Fellow candidates must be nominated by  University faculty/staff for consideration.
