Hosted by the Greater Dallas and Fort Worth Metro Chapters of the Association of Fundraising Professionals

The AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising course was developed with a foundation from the Essentials of Fundraising Program and the First Course in Fundraising. It was designed by experienced fundraising professionals to meet the real-world needs and challenges that nonprofit organizations face every day. This two-day program includes case studies and projects for groups and individuals, making the learning experience both substantial and enjoyable. The AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising course offers a complete overview of the development function of an organization, featuring the most current information and techniques.  This program is designed for people with zero to four years of experience.

Schedule
Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. Thursday, October 4, 2018. The sessions will begin at 8 a.m. and will conclude by 5:30 p.m. each day. Morning and afternoon breaks and lunch are included both days as part of the registration fee.

Location
All sessions will be held at The Girls Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains offices in Fort Worth.
Registration Fees

AFP Members - $350 (after September 7 = $390)
Non-Members - $450 (after September 7 = $490)
*10% discount for four or more attendees registering from the same organization, at the same time, by September 3, 2018

Continuing Education Credit

The Fundamentals of Fundraising Course is approved for continuing education credit by CFRE International.  Participants will receive a thorough reference manual of course materials.  16 CFRE credit hours are awarded to participants who complete the entire two-day course.

Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships may be awarded on the basis of need to assist with the costs of the course registration. Applications must be received by September 7, 2018 to be considered. The application may be obtained HERE Awardees will be notified by September 14, 2018.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your registration, you will receive a refund, less a $25 processing fee, by submitting written notification at least seven days prior to the course.  Participant substitution may be made up to two days prior to the course.  In the event of program cancellation, liability of the AFP Chapters and AFP international is limited to the registration fee.
