The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) represents some 30,000 members in more than 240 chapters throughout the world, working to advance philanthropy through advocacy, research, education and certification programs. The association fosters development and growth of fundraising professionals and promotes high ethical standards in the fundraising profession. 

For more than 35 years, the South Dakota AFP chapter has been the standard-bearer for professionalism in fundraising. Our members have access to a rich network of people with varied experience and perspectives.

Call for Speakers: July 17 Professional Development Program

South Dakota AFP is now accepting speaker proposals for our upcoming program, “Portfolios, Pipelines & Performance: Making Metrics Work for You”, hosted at South Dakota State University in Brookings.

We’re seeking dynamic presenters with experience in donor portfolio development, moves management, documentation strategies, pipeline building, and the use of meaningful metrics in fundraising. Sessions are typically 60 minutes, and proposals may include individual presentations and panels.

If you have practical strategies and real-world tools to help fundraisers strengthen their donor portfolios and build healthier pipelines, we’d love to hear from you!
