Meet Our Speakers

Brenda Frey

Brenda Frey is Director of Prospect Research at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
With over 20 years in non-profit fundraising, she enjoys sharing her experience with gift
capacity estimates, in-depth prospect research profiles, and due diligence with others
and finds the sharing of knowledge the most fulfilling part of a prospect development
career.

Sara Groh

Sara Groh has two decades of non-profit fundraising experience both on the frontline
and in prospect development. This varied experience gives her unique insight into how
advancement teams can effectively partner for pipeline growth and mission impact.
Sara is currently the Director of the Annual Fund at the Foundation for the National
Institutes of Health (FNIH), where she leads the organization’s strategic efforts in annual
giving to secure philanthropic support for groundbreaking biomedical research.

Kim Infanti

With 15+ years of higher education digital communications experience, Kim Infanti is
Syracuse University’s Executive Director of Alumni and Constituent Engagement, which
includes alumni engagement, annual giving, and university and advancement events.
Kim is also the digital growth strategist for Chris Marshall Advancement Consulting.
At Syracuse, she works with campus partners and alumni volunteers to share alumni
programming, giving opportunities and news via email and social media channels. A
champion for using AI to improve work (and life!) efficiency, Kim develops new ways of
 
using technology to promote the Orange Network and keep alumni
connected—including SU’s new AI-powered Ask Orange Alumni tool.
Kim is a proud Syracuse University alumna, with a BA in broadcast journalism and
political science, CAS in information innovation (social media) and an Executive
Masters of Public Administration. She started her career as a reporter at NewsChannel
9 until she found her passion utilizing communications and technology to connect
Syracuse University alumni with their alma mater. Kim and her husband live in Manlius
with their kindergartener.
