We focus on delivering innovative educational programs and events to help you reach your goals. We meet on the second Monday of each month at Bonefish Grill in Pensacola—these meetings around open to members, guests and the public. AFP West Florida Chapter is your link to professional networking luncheons, roundtable sessions, programs for advanced executives, mid-career professionals, and those new to the field.

President, Florida Caucus Chair
Maegan Leonard, Development Specialist at Baptist Healthcare Foundation
Maegan is responsible for contributing to the Foundation's overall financial growth and fundraising initiatives, with a focus on developing and managing the Helping Hands annual team member giving campaign and its initiatives. She also serves as the Foundation marketing liaison, as well as oversees Foundation's financial processes and fund management. Maegan previously was the director of membership for the Greater Pensacola Chamber and is a graduate of the University of West Florida with a degree in journalism. She is an active volunteer for several community organizations.
Natalie Chism, Director of Development at Dixon School of Arts and Sciences
Natalie Chism is the Director of Development for Dixon School of Arts & Sciences. Natalie received her Bachelor of Science from the University of West Florida with a degree in Health, Leisure and Sports with Hospitality and Communications as her focus. Natalie has 20 years of fundraising and event planning experience. Prior to Dixon, she was the Director of Marketing & Development for Big Brothers Big Sisters of NWFL. She also previously worked for the American Heart Association planning Heart Walks and Heart Balls. She currently serves on the Association of Fundraising Professionals Board of Directors, West Florida Chapter. Natalie and her husband Rich are wish granters for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Northern Florida and enjoy volunteering in the community. She is a mother to Olivia who is eight years old. In her free time, Natalie enjoys antiquing, traveling and planning parties.
Robin Zimmern, Director of Development at University of West Florida
Robin serves as the Director of Development at UWF where she is charged with fundraising and community partnerships for the university. She has worked at UWF for the past 12 years and possesses a breadth of expertise in higher education, including her most recent professional experience at UWF as Associate Dean of Students and Director of Student Transition and Governance.
Robin graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She earned a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Vanderbilt University, a Specialist of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of West Florida, and will soon earn her Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of West Florida.
In addition to her professional and academic accomplishments, Robin is very actively involved in professional development and community engagement. She is a member of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, Impact 100, Fiesta of Five Flags, Junior League of Pensacola, Leadership Pensacola, Manna Board of Directors and serves as a Pensacola Little Theater Trustee.
National Philanthropy Day Chair
Lauren Clark, Development Coordinator at Council on Aging
Lauren joined the Council on Aging of West Florida in January 2018 as the Development Coordinator. She is responsible for charitable giving, various outreach efforts, donor relations, and major special events.
Lauren earned a bachelor’s of arts in communications with a public relations specialization from the University of West Florida in 2017. She is currently pursuing further education at the University of West Florida for a master’s of arts in strategic communication and leadership.
Lauren has a background in communications and public relations across a range of industries, from a federal agency in our nation’s capital to Pensacola nonprofits, and from higher education institutions to a financial institution. Born and raised in Pensacola, volunteering in the arts and social services has always been an integral part of Lauren’s role in this community. She is an ambassador with the Greater Pensacola Chamber and is the Vice President of the Healthcare Professionals Association of Northwest Florida.

Meg Bolyard, Development Manager at Pace Center for Girls
Meg is a 2003 graduate of Florida State University where she studied Theatre. She owned a local photography studio for a decade and her work took her around the world photographing nuptials. In 2015, she left behind a world of elaborate weddings and traded in her camera for a fresh start in the nonprofit sector. Her passion for helping others led her to Pace Center for Girls where she serves as the Development Manager.
Blaise Moehl, Development Manager at United Way of West Florida
Blaise Moehl is a Development Manager at United Way of West Florida, where he works to achieve fundraising and engagement goals through community and corporate partnerships. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the University of West Florida and certifications in Community Engagement and Resource Development from NeighborWorks America. Prior to joining the team at United Way, Blaise spent seven years working in communications and development at Pensacola Habitat for Humanity and is a proud AmeriCorps alumnus.
Blaise currently serves on the board of Association of Fundraising Professionals, West Florida Chapter and as a Community Ambassador for The Student Conservation Association. He has been recognized as an Independent News Rising Star and has received the Gold Level of the President’s Volunteer Service Award.
Mallory Wilson, Director of Development and Community Engagement at Pensacola Children's Chorus
Mallory Wilson is the Director of Development and Community Engagement for the Pensacola Children’s Chorus. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a minor in Communications from Florida State University. Over the last ten years, she has gained experience through local non-profits specializing in fundraising, events and marketing. Wilson is involved with the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) and serves on the board for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), West Florida Chapter. As a Pensacola native, Wilson supports her community by participating on the International Paper Community Advisory Council and as a member of the Fiesta Pensacola’s Fiesta Forces (past member of the Volunteer Board) and the Krewe of Hip Huggers.
Alyssa Tucker, Director of Development at Episcopal Day School
Alyssa is the Director of Development at Episcopal Day School where she oversees marketing and fundraising for both of the independent school’s campuses. She is a second generation Pensacolian and is passionate about finding ways to continue the city’s growth for all of its inhabitants. She has a Bachelor of Science in Apparel Design with a minor in Communication from Florida State University and is a certified K-8 teacher.
In the past, Alyssa has served as president of both the Junior League of Pensacola and Learn to Read of NWFL, a board member of Ballet Pensacola, and committee chair of the Big Brothers Big Sisters BIG Gala. She currently serves on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals of NWFL, Impact 100, and the Junior League of Pensacola Sustainers. She has been recognized as an Independent News Rising Star, is an alumnus of Leadership Pensacola (‘16), and has received the Junior League’s Kendra Fendt Ray of Sunshine award.
In her free time she enjoys walking her two dogs, Scout and Abby, practicing pilates with friends, attempting DIY projects on her beloved East Hill home, and traveling the country with the goal of visiting all 50 states.

Tori Bennett, Development Officer at University of West Florida
Tori Bennett is Director of Development at the University of West Florida where she is passionate about transforming student lives through higher education. As a Director of Development, Tori focuses on major gifts and all aspects of stewardship. Tori has been at UWF for the past five years and is a two-time graduate of UWF. Go Argos!
Heather Moorer, Development Director at Baptist Healthcare Foundation
Heather is responsible for generating income and public awareness of the Baptist Health Care Foundation. Heather’s focus is on major gifts, planned giving and grateful patient programs. She also leads donor relations and stewardship and assists with the daily operations of the Baptist Health Care Foundation.
Heather is from Gulf Breeze, Florida and has more than 13 years of health care fundraising experience. She is actively involved with her church, First Baptist Pensacola, and several organizations including the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), Estate Planning Council of Pensacola and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). She currently serves as the AFP West Florida Chapter past-president. Heather earned her bachelor's degree from Auburn University.
