Episcopal School of Baton Rouge is seeking a strong candidate for the position of Development Operations Assistant who possesses knowledge of non-profit fundraising, operations, database management, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and enthusiasm to join a dynamic and successful team. The Development Operations Assistant reports to the Director of Development, is an integral member of the development team, and will offer critical support to achieve the aggressive fundraising goals of the organization, particularly the school’s annual fund and capital campaign. This position is a twelve-month, full-time position to begin immediately.

General Summary
This job assumes responsibility for designing, implementing, and managing all Annual Giving campaigns/solicitations to successfully obtain established long-term and short-term goals within Annual Giving. Assists in coordinating programs within the Philanthropy Department and provides back up to other Development Officers to assure continuity in the Philanthropy Department. General Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Development:
a. Provide support to the Baton Rouge Advisory Board and any other related committees to include the identification and recruitment of members and the production and dissemination of all information needed to successfully execute all related meetings and tasks.
b. Develop strategies for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of prospective donors (individuals, foundations and corporations).
c. Cultivate, develop and maintain relationships with assigned prospective donors resulting in securing new and/or increased financial support.
d. Identify and pursue new sources of individual, corporate and foundation funding.
e. Create and oversee the production of development stewardship materials, donor gifts, donor presentations and other donor engagements as assigned.
