The Office of Institutional Advancement (OIA) at Xavier University of Louisiana (XULA), located in New Orleans, Louisiana, seeks an experienced institutional advancement or grant writing professional to serve as Corporate and Foundation Relations Officer. This is an in-office, non-remote work opportunity.
OIA plays an essential role in creatively building and stewarding corporate and private foundation relationships in support of XULA’s mission, programs, and people (students, faculty, staff, researchers, etc.). The Development Director, located in Metairie, Louisiana, is a highly collaborative, proactive, resourceful professional who provides expertise, support and oversight of Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana’s donor acquisition and retention, peer-to-peer fundraising efforts, corporate sponsorships, individual stewardship events, and other projects. This position works closely with the President & CEO, Vice President of Philanthropy, and development team members in both Houston and Metairie to cultivate relationships with donors and the broader the communities we serve. Working Conditions
This position will be based in the Metairie, Louisiana office. The position requires the individual to work in an office environment in a shared office space. Incumbent must be willing to work some nights/weekends and travel within the territory.
