This position develops and executes strategies that result in securing financial and community resources that enhance the agency’s ability to grow and sustain its programs and services. The Director oversees those activities that support fund raising, volunteer recruitment, community engagement and awareness. The director develops and sustains relationships with donors and grant-making organizations and coordinates the submission and administration of grants. The Office of Institutional Advancement (OIA) at Xavier University of Louisiana (XULA), located in New Orleans, Louisiana, seeks an experienced institutional advancement or grant writing professional to serve as Corporate and Foundation Relations Officer. This is an in-office, non-remote work opportunity.


OIA plays an essential role in creatively building and stewarding corporate and private foundation relationships in support of XULA’s mission, programs, and people (students, faculty, staff, researchers, etc.).
