Dear AFP Central VA members,

Our first Meet & Greet of the year was a success! Thank you to all who were able to join us. We're so grateful to Quirk Cafe for graciously hosting us and providing a welcoming space for connection and community.

We’re also excited to announce our 2026 Inclusive Fundraising Fellowship (IFF) cohort! Please join us in welcoming this inspiring group of fellows to the AFP community—we look forward to supporting their growth and leadership in the field.

As we head into spring, there’s so much more in store. Be sure to join us for our April 9th session entitled, Idea to Action - Shifting to Inclusive Fundraising Practices. Led by Nikkia Johnson, our panelists will explore how to build authentic relationships that go beyond transactional giving, center community in the fundraising process, and address common barriers surrounding inclusive fundraising practices.

Stay tuned for additional opportunities to engage, learn, and connect in the months ahead.

We look forward to seeing you this season!

Yours in service,
LaChelle
