AFP TN, Southeastern Chapter meets on the third Wednesday of the month from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.  Currently, meetings and presentations are held virtually via Zoom. 
In-person lunch meetings will continue as soon as it is safe to do so.

JANUARY: "Lessons Learned about the Annual Fund During a Worldwide Crisis"

Anthony Alonso discusses the tools and techniques you should use to maximize communication efforts with your donors, especially during times where face-to-face visits are not always an option.  Cultivation is key for the long-term sustainability of your annual fund, so make the most of a multi-channel strategy that incorporates email, direct mail, phone, text, and social media solicitations!

FEBRUARY: "THE FUTURE OF DIVERSITY IN THE WORKPLACE"
As our workforce becomes increasingly more diverse, it presents employers with a variety of opportunities and challenges. What steps should organizations take to prepare? In observance of Black History Month, AFP welcomes a guest panel to discuss this growing trend and how to maximize the value that diversity and inclusion bring to the workforce. Andrea Perry Lyons will moderate the discussion.

APRILChapter Meeting "How to Market and Brand your Nonprofit"

Please join us at our monthly Zoom Chapter Meeting on Wednesday, April 21st beginning at 11:30 eastern time. 

Join the roundtable-style discussion as Mandy Senn with 6 Strong Media walks us through effective marketing.  Mandy will give a brief organizational overview, share her philosophy regarding marketing, and then field questions.  Come prepared with your questions for Mandy and get ready to learn how to showcase your nonprofit to your supporters.

"Mandy Senn-Simmons, IOM, is Vice President of Marketing & Accounts for 6 STRONG MEDIA, a Chattanooga-based corporate video production company.

She joined the 6 STRONG team in 2016 after serving in a variety of roles with the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Louisville Organization, and Girls' Preparatory School. Her specific professional experience includes event and volunteer management, marketing, fundraising, development, client relations, project management, and communications.

Join us this Wednesday for a panel discussion all about Corporate Social Responsibility. Learn how and why our represented companies engage with our community. Each panelist will provide an overview of their philosophy and then take questions from members. Our very own Richard Johnson will moderate the panel.
