 AFP TN, Southeastern Chapter Scholarships

The AFP, Southeastern Tennessee Chapter is excited to announce we are accepting applications for the Ralph E. Chamberlain Scholarship through Friday, February 13th, 2026.
This scholarship will grant one fundraising professional in our community the opportunity to attend this year's AFP ICON Conference (April 26-28) in beautiful San Diego! The scholarship covers registration fees and an additional travel stipend of up to $2,500 from our chapter!
The Chamberlain Scholarship program honors Ralph E. Chamberlain, CFRE. Mr. Chamberlain had a long and distinguished career of service to the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). Because of his long-time support of the Foundation’s annual fund and generous planned gift, the AFP Board of Directors renamed their Conference Scholar Program in 2000 to honor Mr. Chamberlain’s memory and commitment to the Association. The 2026 AFP International Conference on Philanthropy is slated to be held April 26-28 in San Diego, and this scholarship is for a fundraiser who has not attended an AFP International Conference in the past.

The scholarship covers registration fees and an additional travel stipend of up to $2,500 from the local Chapter. The scholarship recipient will be asked to provide a report at one of the monthly meetings following attendance at the conference and complete an online evaluation form about his or her experience at International Conference.
