Marian Kaanon has been President and CEO of the Stanislaus Community Foundation since 2012, overseeing a period of growth from $12 million in assets to more than $30 million today. In 2006, Kaanon was named by The Modesto Bee as one of “20 Under 40” young civic leaders to watch, and in 2015 was named an Outstanding Woman for Stanislaus County. She is active in Modesto Rotary Club, a Senior Fellow with the American Leadership Forum/Great Valley Chapter and a graduate of the Irvine New Leadership Network.
Louis Friedman’s law practice emphasizes the areas of Estate Planning, Finance, Business Organization, Succession Planning and Asset Protection. He has vast experience advising family owned and closely held companies and has spent decades working in this field as a CPA, attorney and senior officer of a family-owned business. Some of his local positions have included the Gallo Center for the Arts, Modesto Rotary Club, Sylvan Unified School District and the Stanislaus Business Forum Steering Committee

If you register for the meeting and pay in advance via Paypal and are unable to attend, you will NOT receive a refund for your payment.
If you register in advance without paying and are unable to attend, you will be billed for lunch via PayPal invoice, due and payable on receipt.
If you register and pay in advance but inform us of your inability to attend before the RSVP deadline we will refund your payment. Under the same circumstances if you don’t pay but let us know before the deadline, you will not receive an invoice.
We will not carry over your payment to the following month’s meeting.
You may designate another to attend in your place in order to retain the value of your registration. In the case where a non-member substitute is designated, that person must pay the balance of $5.00 to attend.
Walk-ins, please note: Preregistered attendees will be given priority for lunch. If you don't register in advance, we are unable guarantee adequate food for everyone. You will be charged to attend.
