Joan Geiger Wood, CFRE

Joan Geiger Wood is a Certified Fundraising Executive with extensive experience developing and implementing successful fundraising programs, having raised $100+ million for non-profit organizations during a 30+ year career. Joan is principal at Joan Wood & Company where she works with nonprofits to assess and improve their fundraising programs. She creates strategy, develops action plans, and trains and coaches staff to arm them with the tools they need to fundraise more effectively.

A member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, currently serves on the board of the AFP DC chapter, leads AFP DC’s Consultants Affinity Group and is the 2018 Co-Chair of the Bridge to Integrated Fundraising Conference in Washington, DC.
