We are actively searching for a Director of Annual Giving and Stewardship to add to our team! The
responsibilities are varied, and you will be working with multiple associations and staff members.

Position Summary:
Leading YWCA Regina’s Annual Giving and Stewardship, the Director of Annual Giving and Stewardship,
with support from the Sr. Director of Development will cultivate, steward, and expand the relationships
between the organization and its donors at all levels, by creating and executing an Annual Development
Plan.
The Director of Annual Giving and Stewardship will provide extraordinary service to donors, and manage
donor acknowledgement in a timely manner.
This role oversees the operation of the Raiser’s Edge (RE) database, ensuring accuracy and integrity of
the database, manages gift processing and acknowledgement processes, and communication avenues
with donors.
Managing all aspects of annual donor acknowledgement, annual donor communication and gift
processes fall under the purview of this position.

Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute an Annual Development plan for YWCA Regina
  • Oversee the Raiser’s Edge Database as it pertains to maintenance of donor information and gift information, including tax receipting
  • Ensure the execution of YWCA Regina’s Annual Donor Stewardship
  • Manage the execution of appeals and campaigns throughout the year
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Utilize Raiser’s Edge as a strategic resource in the implementation of Annual Development Plan
  • Manage the gift acknowledgment process to ensure a high level of accuracy and donor satisfaction
  • Ensure a high level of accuracy of all constituent data including constituent demographics and relationship links.
  • Develop and implement systems to capture donor self-reported information
  • Create the donor recognition portion of annual report for stewardship of donors and ensure its distribution
  • Execute prospect identification and cultivation of individual and corporate donors
  • Create reports needed to analyze development functions including events, annual giving, and major gift activities as requested
  • Maintain confidentiality and exert a high level of discretion
  • Work with Business Office Manager to ensure incoming donations and their recording is accurately represented in our financials and reconciled with RE
  • Oversee database management for events
  • Ensure collection of funds after events in coordination with Events Manager
  • Build and administer constituent mailing lists for key department activities including donor communications, and fundraising appeals
  • Above all else, ensure that we are doing everything we can to translate to our donors that their support is making a difference in our community
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Maintain mailing lists utilized for direct mail campaigns, including appeal letters, event invitations, annual reports, and year-end mailings and provide reports on same
  • Conduct research and identify prospective new donors, identify opportunities to increase donations from existing donors and build stronger ties to the organization and our work
  • Develop monthly and annual reports, as well as special reports as requested within Raiser’s Edge
  • Provide relevant information to Manager of Communications and Digital Marketing for the purpose of informing collateral creation for internal and external communication
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
  • 3 or more years experience in related areas of Fund Development
  • Experience with database software management preferably, Raiser’s Edge is preferred
