Director of Revenue Development


The Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan (ASOS) is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization committed to
improving the lives of people affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. ASOS is currently recruiting
an experienced and passionate individual to work in the exciting role of permanent full-time Director of Revenue
Development (DRD) located in Regina.

The DRD is responsible for developing a revenue plan that meets the Society’s needs on both a long and short-
term basis. The position calls for planning and implementing revenue development strategies that include a

balanced portfolio of fund-raising programs, effective utilization of staff and volunteer resources, and ongoing
evaluation of trends and programs.
The DRD manages all revenue development programs of the ASOS and is primarily responsible for major gifts,
planned giving, individual giving portfolios, and managing the revenue development staff. Building and managing
long-term relationships with donors leading to significant increases in long-term revenue, this position works in
partnership with the CEO and oversees the Best Life Campaign for Dementia Research, including working with
the major gift campaign volunteers to identify prospects, develop cultivation and solicitation strategies, solicit and
close gifts.


The ideal candidate should have the following skills and requirements:
• University or College degree/diploma
• 10+ years’ experience in a senior fundraising role including planning and donor relations
• Certified Fund Raising Executive designation is considered an asset
• Proven success in major and planned gifts
• Proven success in annual fundraising including annual events, grants, sponsorships, individual giving and
  other gift solicitation strategies
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Office 365)
• Flexible schedule that allows for some weekend and evening work
• Proven strong leadership skills and supervisory experience working with development staff providing
   quality training and education to them as well as others in the organization
• Persuasive ability to inspire the confidence and trust of donors, volunteers, staff and board members
• Incredibly organized, self-motivated, with great attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in grant writing, report writing, and
  formal correspondence that can be customized in a variety of ways for specific audiences and used to
  provide oversight and editing for other development team members.
• An understanding of and commitment to confidentiality including demonstrated ability handling sensitive
 confidential information in all formats
• Subject to a criminal record check


  Salary Range: $77,383 - $99,492
