Suzanne Blake

Suzie Blake, MPNL, CFRE has been in the nonprofit sector for over twenty years and earned her BS from Oregon State University.  She went on to earn a Master’s in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  She has worked in Development for the American Red Cross, March of Dimes, Boy Scouts of America, PBS/NPR, and the Grand Rapids Public Museum prior to moving to Santa Fe. In November of 2020 Suzie joined the team at the Children’s Grief Center and Grief Resource Center in Albuquerque as their Director of Development.

She has been a member of the West Michigan Chapter of the AFP Board serving as the Chair of the Mentorship program. She is a new Board member of AFP New Mexico Chapter and serves as a co-chair of the Mentorship Program with Mary Cianflone.

For fun Suzie enjoys exploring, hiking, biking, and gardening. She lives in Santa Fe with her partner, Steve and beloved kitty, Cole.

She looks forward to sharing her knowledge and experience with others, as well as learning from all the Development Professionals in New Mexico.
