National Philanthropy Day (NPD) is a special day set aside each year to recognize and celebrate the many contributions that philanthropists, board members, volunteers, civic and corporate leaders, and nonprofit champions have made in our community.  Now more than ever, we sing the praises of those who step up in times of insurmountable challenges. Given the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic we are creatively and enthusiastically adapting our plans for 2020.

This year, we are thrilled to announce the AFP Memphis Chapter’s Virtual Fundraising Conference and Crystal Awards in celebration of National Philanthropy Day.

On Thursday, November 12, 2020, the Association of Fundraising Professionals Memphis Chapter will be leaping into the digital age and honoring the health and well-being of those we care for most by streaming our professional development conference and a very special celebration of our 2020 Crystal Award honorees. This unique, virtual event will offer professional development and dedicated time to celebrate from afar with digital recognition of this year’s honorees.

We are proud to announce this year's honorees:

Ed & Sue Clark, Outstanding Philanthropists

Connie Lewis Lensing, Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser

Pooja & Kush Shah, Outstanding Emerging Philanthropists

Joanna Curtis, Outstanding Fundraising Executive

Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church, COVID-19 Hero
