National Philanthropy Day is a special day set aside to recognize and pay tribute to the impact of philanthropy in the world around us. It's a day to honor those people active in the philanthropic community who have made our lives, our communities, and our world a better place. National Philanthropy Day, or NPD, celebrates the charitable work that EVERYONE does to make a difference and create an impact in their communities.

For more than 20 years, the South Carolina Lowcountry Chapter has gathered on National Philanthropy Day to honor remarkable achievements by local individuals, foundations, and corporate philanthropists who work in collaboration with nonprofit organizations. Come join us as we gather to honor the dynamic philanthropic community that has formed to impact every part of the Lowcountry.

Fundraising Today: Maximizing Success Through Campaigns, Major Gifts & Outsourcing Expertise

Interested in exploring new fundraising strategies as you wind down for the year and gear up for 2024? Join Piper Hardin of Orr Group and Katy Calloway of Calloway Stern Group for an engaging workshop as we explore the keys to holistic fundraising success in today’s philanthropic environment with deep dives on launching campaigns, sustaining a major gift program, and exploring the benefits of outsourced development support to reach organizational goals.

Join us prior to the awards celebration to help pack hygiene kits for individuals experiencing
homelessness in our community. Help volunteer to sort, prepare, and assemble kits that will be distributed to nonprofit agencies and/or schools in need. These kits include the most frequently requested and/or needed items by nonprofits serving individuals experiencing poverty and/or homelessness in the Tri-County Community. Help make every day essentials a little more accessible to our fellow Tri-County residents.
