Thanks to amazing chapter members, AFP OK is kicking off the 2020 fundraising campaign after a record breaking 2019! Thank you to all who supported GROWTH for chapter membership last year.
Our 2020 goal is to raise at least $2,000, 100% of which stays right here to benefit local members. We are confident we can meet that amount with member support and have a focus of making sure this year's campaign will IMPACT our chapter by providing as many resources to members as possible. We have set our sights on 25% member participation this year and hope you will join us in making a contribution to the campaign. Online gifts can be made here.
Because campaign funds directly benefit chapter members, we want you to know how you can access them to your benefit! AFP OK Chapter members can use the google form below to submit an application for financial support in one of four areas.
Areas of Scholarship Include:
- Membership Scholarship (covering $250 AFP International fee, member responsible for the $50 chapter fee)*
-National Philanthropy Day Workshop and Reception Scholarship: $75 value (for September applications only)
-$200 toward CFRE test or renewal
-Bundle of 3 monthly luncheon scholarship: $45 value
You must be a current AFP OK chapter member in order to be awarded a scholarship in all categories except for member scholarship. *Please share with non-members the opportunity to apply for a chapter membership scholarship.
This year, the AFP OK board will review submissions in March and September. September applications are due by September 15th for consideration. Those awarded a scholarship will be contacted as soon as decisions have been made.
CFRE study materials are also available to be borrowed from the chapter and can be accessed by contacting the Chapter's Education Vice Chair, Justin De Moss, CFRE, at
If you have suggestions for ways in which your local AFP chapter can serve members in new and better ways for 2020, we invite you to send those ideas our way. Thank you for playing an important role in making an IMPACT in the fundraising profession.
