AFP Nova Scotia is proud to present the 4th Annual AFP Nova Scotia Professional Awards once again this year to be held at the 2022 Maritime Fundraising Conference.
The Professional Awards are an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the incredibly selfless work of outstanding colleagues who contribute to the advancement of philanthropy in our communities.
Nominations will remain open until Tuesday, May 24th at 4pm. Please take a few moments to consider the superstar fund development colleagues on your team and fill out an application today! Please help us recognize our industry's best in one of the following categories:
Fundraising Innovation for Small Shops
This award recognizes an organization, an individual or a group that has developed inventive campaigns, initiatives, project, or techniques that have grown and/or improved fundraising infrastructure, programs, and/or results while keeping the AFP's goals of inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility top of mind.
Youth in Philanthropy
This award recognizes an outstanding youth or youth group who have demonstrated their care for the world around them through fundraising, volunteerism or other philanthropic activities.
Professional Fundraiser
This award recognizes an outstanding fundraising professional who practices their profession in an exemplary manner, either as a non-profit employee or as a consultant. Any nominee must have a minimum of five years’ experience.
Rising Star
This award recognizes a fundraising professional whose early success bodes well for future leadership and achievement in the profession. The nominee must have worked in the fundraising profession for less than five years.
