Manager, Grants & Community Partnerships

Arthritis Society Canada (ASC) is looking for a team-oriented and innovative fundraiser to serve as Manager, Grants & Community Partnerships for Western Canada. The Manager will have a successful track record of delivering results and will bring a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities. They will bring strong writing skills, relationship instincts, and a genuine commitment to mission-driven work to help advance ASC’s impact across the region.

Reporting to the Vice President, Western Canada, and working as part of the National Revenue Development Team, the Manager will drive revenue growth across Western Canada by leading the grants portfolio, including donor-advised funds, and managing a diverse portfolio of community partnerships, including peer-to-peer campaigns, employee giving, point-of-sale initiatives, and third-party events.

The ideal candidate brings demonstrated experience in grant writing and a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to identifying opportunities, producing compelling proposals and reports, and stewarding relationships with foundation partners. They will also manage a portfolio of community and corporate partnerships, leveraging strong relationship management skills, the ability to juggle multiple priorities, and a collaborative spirit and genuine passion for mission driven work.

Director, Major  Gifts, British Columbia

Arthritis Society Canada is seeking a strategic, proactive and results-driven fundraiser to serve as Director, Major Gifts for British Columbia. Building on an existing major gift program, the Director will bring a relationship-centred approach to secure donations and expand the portfolio of donors at the $10,000 level and above.

Reporting to the Vice President, Western Canada, and working as part of the National Revenue Development Team, the Director will manage a portfolio of donors and prospects across the full relationship lifecycle, from identification and cultivation through solicitation and stewardship. As a proven relationship builder and strong communicator, the Director will develop compelling proposals and cases for support, engage senior leadership in donor strategy, and collaborate with national colleagues to align efforts and share best practices.

The ideal candidate brings a strong track record in major gift fundraising, with relationship instincts, discipline, and an entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit to thrive in a mission-driven organization. The BC regional office is located at 895 West 10th Avenue, Vancouver, and this role offers flexibility to work from home according to a hybrid model, working at least two days a week from the BC office and the remaining days remotely/from home. This position will require some travel in the region and occasionally to the national office in Toronto.

What you’ll do
We are seeking a dynamic experienced fundraising professional who is inspired by our cause to lead Mid and
Major level donor relationships in BCCHF’s Vancouver Island market. Reporting to the Director, Community, you
will execute high-touch activities to advance BCCHF’s annual giving and major giving relationships on Vancouver
Island. As the Philanthropy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and growing this donor base by
utilizing a broad range of touchpoints, including cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship, while collaborating with Foundation teams (Major Giving, Gift & Estate Planning, and Experience).
