Development Coordinator

The Director, Major Gifts is a central part of the fundraising team focused primarily on raising

endowment.

Director of Fund Development

The Director of Fund Development is responsible for the successful leadership and operational management of the fundraising function of Shoreline Medical Society. This half-time position will lead the development and implementation of all activities associated with a fundraising strategy, implement sound practices to ultimately inspire, support and help Shoreline Medical achieve its vision. The Director will use strong communication skills and a keen sense of initiative to spot fundraising opportunities, develop relationships with potential donors, and manage fundraising campaigns. The Director will work collaboratively with the Executive Director and Board members to develop campaign goals and guidelines, with an initial financial goal of raising $300,000 to $500,000 per year. This amount includes the funding required to support this position. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of the Saanich Peninsula region, be community-oriented, creative, motivated, professional, and organized and have a knack for research.

Development Officer - Leave Replacement 13 month contract

Pacific Opera Victoria is looking for a self-directed individual to be part of a small, high-performance, collaborative team reporting to the Director of Development. This position is a 13 month leave position and is responsible for administrative and organizational support for the implementation of all fundraising strategies; database management, annual direct mail and telemarketing campaigns, assist with fundraising and donor event logistics, donor benefits fulfillment, and managing project and reporting timelines.  The Development Officer develops and maintains professional relationships with donors, sponsors, grantors, suppliers and volunteers. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong relationship building, organizational and technology skills. Competency with donor management software – in particular Tessitura – is a definite asset.

Fundraising Operations Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fundraising Operations Officer to join our team! This
full-time permanent role is accountable for the data, technology, and operational procedures
that supports much of our fundraising activities including direct response programs and events.
Reporting to the Director of Development, our ideal candidate embraces technology, has an
aptitude for data analysis, has experience working in the not-for-profit sector, has excellent
organizational skills and is able to work independently and as part of a team. Central to this role
is the coordination, analysis, and use of fundraising data to support strategies of the Victoria
Hospitals Foundation. Task management will be key as this position, within the fundraising
operations portfolio, will work cross-departmentally with all teams in the organization.
