Growing in Greatness -
Ethical Fundraising with Seniors

Presentation Goals:
  • You will be able to adopt (or revise and create) a set of ethical standards of practice for fundraising with aging donors
  • You will understand the complexity of issues related to working with senior donors who face changes in their physical and mental abilities and use that knowledge to adjust your own practices
  • You will form your own attitudes and opinions about dealing with senior donors which are based on research, facts and always doing the right thing for the donor

Mr. Kramer has 22 years of professional fundraising experience with 17 of those spent helping seniors to achieve their philanthropic dreams. David has raised more than $28-million and also has experience fundraising for religious and educational institutions. He is long-time member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and served on the Board for the Southeast Wisconsin Chapter
 
David belongs to the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners (CGP) and was president of the Milwaukee, Wisconsin Chapter. David has given numerous talks on planned giving, time management and other fundraising topics. David earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Northern Illinois University and spent 10 years in radio prior to fundraising. He earned a Master's of Science in Organizational Leadership and Quality from Marian University in Wisconsin.
