During this presentation, Carolyn will share pointers for preparing yourself, fellow staff and volunteers for in-person meetings with prospective major gift donors. She will share a few personal experiences about asking for major gift commitments from individuals, foundations and corporations, including some that seemed at the start to be "impossible," but that were ultimately successful. Carolyn will leave ample time for discussion, as "asking" is a topic about which many have questions.
