NPD Nominations 2018 - Now Open!

This is your opportunity to honour the outstanding achievements of individuals, foundations, corporations and volunteers who contribute their time, talents and resources to enhancing our community!

Organizations are welcome to submit nominations for multiple award categories.

A nomination is a great way to recognize those people, groups and businesses that make organizations successful. Not only does the luncheon present an excellent stewardship opportunity, it gives organizations a chance to thank key supporters for all they have done. As this is a non-competitive celebration, all nominees receive a National Philanthropy Day Award at the Awards Luncheon on Thursday November 15, 2018.

Once nominated, we ask that you also host your Award Recipient, their family or others by purchasing a ticket(s) or table for the 18th Annual National Philanthropy Day Celebration Luncheon on Thursday November 15, 2018 at Prairieland Park.

Chamberlain Scholarship

The Chamberlain Scholarship Program was created in recognition of Ralph E. Chamberlain CFRE., who had a long and distinguished career of service to the Association of Fundraising Professionals that began in the 1960’s and continued until his passing in 1999. Mr. Chamberlain’s dedication to the organization never faltered in his long volunteer career with the Association. Because of his long-time support of the Foundation’s annual fund and generous planned gift, the AFP Board of Directors renamed their Conference Scholarship Program in 2000 to honour Mr. Chamberlain’s memory and commitment to the Association.

AFP Saskatoon Chapter is proud to offer the Chamberlain Scholarship Program for the annual International Fundraising Conference. This program is designed to help individuals serving non-profit organizations develop their knowledge and skill in fundraising.

The AFP Chamberlain Scholarship will cover the registration fee for the AFP 56th International Fundraising Conference in San Antonio, TX March 31- April 2, 2019. The successful applicant or their agency/organization will be responsible for their airfare and accommodation to attend the conference in March 2019. The successful applicant will be notified prior to the National Philanthropy Day Luncheon on Thursday November 15, 2018 where the Chamberlain Scholarship Award will be presented.
