Associated with  AFP SC, Piedmont Chapter

WHEN:             Thursday, September 20
Join us on Thursday, September 20 for the annual presentation of the Giving USA Report. The 2016 Giving USA Annual Report is now out and reports total giving has reached its highest level ever!  Is your organization growing with this trend?  This month's presentation is a unique opportunity to invite your Board and CEO to learn more about who gives and how your organization can grow.

In this session, David King, President & CEO of Alexander Haas, will take us on a deeper dive into the Giving USA Report. Where did the money come from, where did it go, what are the major short- and long-term trends in philanthropy and what can we learn from them so that our organization can get a larger share of the pie? Well look at giving to each of six subsectors and the current trend and explore the impact that Donor Advised Funds are having on philanthropy in the US.

Giving USA: The Annual Report on Philanthropy is the seminal publication reporting on the sources and uses of charitable giving in the United States. For over 60 years, fundraisers, nonprofit leaders, donors and volunteers, scholars, and other individuals who work in or with the charitable sector have counted on Giving USA to provide the most comprehensive charitable giving data available. No other source provides the context for annual giving like Giving USA.
