National Philanthropy Awards Nominations Due July 1, 2019!

Each year, in conjunction with the celebration of National Philanthropy Day, the SC Lowcountry Chapter of AFP recognizes outstanding achievements by local individuals, foundations and corporate philanthropists who form a vital partnership with nonprofit organizations to ensure that the needs of its citizens are being met.

Nominations for the 2019 NPD Awards are now being accepted.
Nominees’ lead nominator must be a current member of the S.C. Lowcountry Chapter of AFP. Letters of support, however, may come from either members or nonmembers. Deadline for submissions is July 1, 2019.

The Outstanding Individual Award will be presented each year. The Awards Committee, at its discretion and based on nomination submissions, may also present awards in the following categories. Please click on the award to be redirected to the nomination forms.

The 2019 Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy Award is being sponsored through the Jefferson Awards Foundation.

For more information or questions, please contact 2019 NPD Awards Chair Leigh Handal (lhandal@comcast.net). A list of past winners is below.
