Thursday, November 15, 2018, 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
Crowne Plaza Hotel, Ventura | 450 E Harbor Blvd, Ventura, CA 93001

National Philanthropy Day is a special day to recognize the great contributions that philanthropy — and those active in the philanthropic community — make to our communities. This year on November 15th, AFPSBV celebrates inspirational individuals, organizations and businesses in the community who generously give their time, talents and resources to all that philanthropy makes possible.

2018 National Philanthropy Day Awards

Each year AFPSBV marks one day to celebrate the spirit of giving by recognizing exemplars in philanthropy and social change. On Thursday, November 15, 2018, we will present the 2018 awards to the following individuals and institutions whose giving to the community inspires all of us.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Our local AFP Santa Barbara/Ventura Counties Chapter was founded 32 years ago to promote philanthropy and support the practice of ethical and effective fundraising. We do this through education, networking, mentoring, advocacy, and recognition. Our chapter is run by a board of directors featuring the counties’ top fundraising professionals and hosts a variety of educational trainings throughout the year.

Your partnership with AFPSBV enables us to celebrate philanthropy in our communities, continue innovative educational opportunities for fundraisers and nonprofit professionals, and provides scholarships for AFP membership, trainings, and educational conferences.
