Guidelines and Award Nominations Information
The Finger Lakes Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is pleased to invite nominations for philanthropic excellence in the Finger Lakes region. As always, the event will include the presentation of four awards to honor the incredible philanthropic leaders in our community. Nominators and honorees will be informed of their award selection in advance of the event.
Award Categories
Philanthropist of the Year, Individual
Honors an individual or family that has demonstrated exemplary financial support of the nonprofit sector.
Philanthropist of the Year, Organization
Honors an area business - local, national or international - that has demonstrated exemplary financial and/or in-kind support and volunteer leadership in the non-profit sector.
Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year
Honors an individual or family that has demonstrated exemplary volunteer leadership in the non-profit sector.
Outstanding Professional Achievement in Nonprofit Leadership
Honors an individual who has demonstrated exemplary commitment,
professionalism and leadership throughout the course of their nonprofit career.
Community Change Agent of the Year
Honors an individual who personifies philanthropy in action through gifts of time, sweat, and friendship to one or multiple organizations that contributes to a better, more equitable community.
