Fundraising programs that leverage online and offline channels perform better than those lacking this integration.  A fully integrated multi-channel program includes a combination of traditional channels (direct mail and phone) and digital channels (email, social media, crowd-funding etc.).  Increasingly, digital strategies are using mobile technology as more people use smartphones to access the Internet.  Fundraisers need to think about how, when, and where people are donating and how they expect to interact with the online process.
