Your organization and the nonprofit community need amazing fundraisers and staff who can support their fundraising programs. How do you connect the dots? This informative and interactive session is designed for emerging nonprofit leaders who work in program or service delivery and are interested in exploring how to get their feet wet in fundraising in their current role, or for their future career path. It is also for nonprofit leaders who have identified someone at their organization who they feel could move into the area of fund development and would like to start that discussion. Board members welcome! Attend together, or alone – you’ll be glad, either way! Monica Grant, CFRE, is the CEO of the San Luis Obispo County YMCA. She has over thirty years of experience as a nonprofit and development professional, including UC Santa Cruz, The Nature Conservancy and Santa Rosa Jr. College. She ran her own consulting firm, providing fundraising consulting, planning, organizational development, training and facilitation for nonprofits with a focus on capacity building and sustainability. Monica has a Masters in Organizational Leadership. She serves on the boards for the SLO Chamber and Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center, and is the current Chair of the Association of Fundraising
