Join the San Diego chapter of AFP at the San Diego Museum of Man as we talk about the importance of equity and inclusion in our daily lives as nonprofit professionals.

As participants navigate through the museum’s Race: Are We So Different? exhibit, discover the science and history behind race, listen to and share personal experiences in a "brave space," and develop skills to encourage further conversations about race, equity, and inclusion in and outside of our organizations.

The interactive program will run from 3-5 pm, with networking and a social hour from 5-6 p.m.

Learning Objectives

Participants will leave with a better understanding of diversity and culture, gain new insight about unconscious bias, and understand how building a diverse organization can better solve the needs of the community.

Who May Wish to Attend: Fundraising professionals and nonprofit leaders of all experience levels who wish to learn more about the importance of inclusion and social justice.
