"Beyond Black and White" Stories of Diversity in the Workplace

When:  May 17, 2018 from 8:30 AM to 10:15 AM (CT)

Four Stories of Diversity in the Workplace:

It is through sharing our personal stories that we can move beyond just being tolerant of differences to understanding, respecting and valuing one another. Our terrific “diverse” panel will share their workplace experiences through the lens of race, religion and gender. Panelists include: an African American Muslim (born and raised in South Louisiana), veteran and accomplished researcher; LGBTQ advocate; an African American female with a diverse career path; and a Caucasian male with significant experience at a historically black college. We aim to move beyond inclusion for its own sake, and predict this will be an eye-opening, heart-opening session.
