Embrace, Adopt, and Change: An Innovative Change Model for Reluctant Donors
Program description: Embrace, Adopt, and Change will introduce a change model designed to create buy-in at the individual, team, and organizational level. This program will introduce the model and highlight how it can be used as a framework for getting reluctant individual and corporate donors to give to your organization, gaining support from higher-ups and board members for new programs, or creating the large scale change you would like to see in your organization. The change model also helps you assess resistance to a proposal and can help you develop a focused approach to gaining support for your initiatives.
Bio: Dr. Wes Alford is a Senior HR Consultant in the department of Organizational Development at UAMS. His work focuses on change management consulting and training, employee engagement analytics, and leadership development. Through his work, he is able to be a part of developing a UAMS workforce that is poised to deliver the best care to patients, develop the newest innovations in health care, and create a healthier Arkansas.
